HOT AIR BALLOONS
How many are there?
We will have 6 hot air balloons. The balloons will arrive at 4:30 p.m. and will inflate approximately 5:45 p.m.
Do they leave the ground and can we ride in them?
No, these balloons remain on the ground during the event. All of the pilots are very friendly and love for you to visit and ask questions.
Why are the balloons not up?
There are never guarantees with weather--hot air balloons cannot be inflated if the wind speed is more than 5 MPH. The pilots monitor this throughout the event, so if they are not inflated it is too windy. During this time they will still torch the flames (candle-sticking). As soon as it is safe to do so they will inflate.
